WATERCOLORS

An entirely different method of painting than acrylic, where one usually moves from darks to lights in building images, watercolors build from lights to darks. Less messy and toxic than oil paints, watercolors are easy to mix, travel with, and wash off of hands, clothes, and tables. There are challenging traditional methods, and an array of less structured ways to capuure reality and imagination. As most creative processes, painting is terrific way to escape into another world.
